Initial Considerations about The Project: AI in Learning Design

“This project will involve using Artificial Intelligence in the array of regular tasks that a professional staff member in the Teaching and Learning Lab completes to explore the power of this new technology to support, and perhaps enhance, the skill of Learning Designers.”

I think this project can go in many ways and as a result, there’s a lot of questions that I have:

  • How can I be rigorous in my ultimate recommendations on AI usage for teachers?

  • How can I get familiar with the ways that some educators are already using AI, and the common fears etc... basically how to get to know the users?

  • What would a final project look like for this? I’m drawn to the idea of a website, but open to other considerations…

  • I’m excited!
